Day 8 notes (11/01/22)

Today was an ok day, better than yesterday but far from perfect. I had the morning off as part of my option to take off time for recovery. However, felt worse for doing it as sometimes, getting up really helps boost my mood and makes me more productive through the days. In future I am going to give myself a 1hr session as opposed to the full thing, but nonetheless still train the full 9 sessions.

Swimming was good this evening nonetheless, although my calendar could have been used to much better effect to help me not run late for a meeting in town today, I was sprinting for about a mile to make it 😅

Screen time was again down but not so much progress on my forest app today, logging around 4 1/2 hrs compared fo yesterday’s 6 1/2. On the plus side, I’ve now brought 2 new types of tree with regards to the bonus coins the app gives you for small tasks, so I can have a water feature or some cuckoo clocks in my forest now (far more excited about this than I should be!) I’ve also made up a new rule with the app. I’m allowed to use the app for tracking no use time, whilst sleeping… but only for the amount of time before midnight (go to bed at 11pm = 1hr forest time) this way I’m not rewarding myself for times I’m not actually using my phone.

Productivity was abit lower today, but will be better tomorrow now I have an idea of what I’m going to be doing. Today I had to wait for a few answers before I could move on with certain projects, but I’m really looking forward to progressing again tomorrow.
