Day 61 (5/2/22)

A great day, but I’m wiped!!


So, for starters I only got 3hrs sleep last night, I’ve been getting quite anxious at night recently. Last night I had 2 consecutive dreams before 2am which sounded like bombs were going off, and I really struggled to sleep after that.


After this, training in the morning I thought would be a struggle, but I managed to get myself through it successfully. This is what I’ve trained for everyday in terms of working with my sport psych, that I can swim fast/perform on any given day.


This didn’t mean I wasn’t shattered however, and although I’ve kept myself extremely busy and had a lot of fun (breakfast with the swim lads, poker in the evening) I’m going to do some serious relaxing/recovering tomorrow!


Hopefully tomorrow brings the new Batman film! I’m so excited for it 😁
