Day 5 blog


Today was a very good day in terms of training, friendship and general life.



First, let me acknowledge the inconsistency in days, and this is exactly what I said, I won't be able to do it all the time, but most of the time, whether good or bad days I will be doing a post. :D


Swimming went really well this morning and I’m finally gaining confidence back on butterfly. First proper set long course where my shoulders didn’t feel like they were going to fall off completed and was fairly quick! Nice little starting point. Measuring expectations I don’t expect this to continue each session but Im looking for gains in the long run, and I’m grateful that’s what I’m seeing at the moment.


Socially life was good today. With a nice spoons breakfast and spending the rest of my day with Abs, loved it. I’ve used the forest app loads today (6 1/2hrs at the time of writing) and it’s meant that I can actually switch off and nap so much sooner.


Comparing today’s phone usage on a good day (less than 2 1/2hrs) with a bad day (Wednesday at 7hrs 16m), I can see a huge difference in quality of life and I’ve felt so much more productive. The change between Wednesday and today is astronomical and it’s probably a lot down to having the weights lifted off my shoulder of my masters.
