Day 59 (and recovery day 3/2/22)

It’s not really felt like a self-care day, but all I can say is that I’m feeling a hell of a lot better than I was yesterday.

If there’s one thing I feel I could do better, and I spoke to my nutritionist about tonight, it’s that I could maybe recover myself better during illness. I forget the basics like eating and drinking and taking the lemsip, and sleeping. Which could help speed up the process.

Instead I normally get into a bad habit of ‘doomscrolling’ that I’m sure we’re all guilty of from time to time. This is probably what was responsible for my ridiculously high screen time during lockdown. It is the main goal of my New Years resolutions, as it’s not a healthy way to live and just because I made some bad habits during lockdown, doesn’t mean that they can’t be changed or improved.

It wasn’t until about 12ish that I realised I had a tonne of energy, so I thought id be able to go back to swimming. It was just a short session for me, as on the walk there I was coming over quite dizzy, but it was great to be in and around it and was cool to watch the team pushing it from the sidelines.

I really like the group at the moment, it says a lot about a programme when I have had quite a few messages wishing me well after just a day out the pool, it’s nice to be in this together 💪🏽

Work side was productive again today behind the scenes, and a chilled evening watching a plane crash documentary which has got me feeling really ready to fly next Friday also happened 😅

Another day tomorrow, and hopefully back to normal.

It's been a while, and I am not making these 'public' in the sense of advertising them on social media for now, if you make your own way...
