Day 49 and recovery day (21/2/22)

Recovery/self-care day for me!


I needed this. After a weekend of racing and letting it get a little bit too much for me (learning curve!) I had a few things I wanted to do to help relieve myself of some stress.


Haircut ✅

Beard trim ✅

Cleaning parts of the house ✅

Other needed self-care activities ✅


I really think that writing the blogs from over the weekends helped so much to channel my thoughts. I didn’t feel the competition blues anywhere near as strongly as I usually do. Swimming was fine and has helped me recover. I’m ready now, for another big week 😎
