Day 31 (3/2/22)

What a rough day.


I’ve been feeling pretty flat since Sunday, with cold like symptoms, but I’d been pushing on and not really taking too much of a break. Sure I would reduce intensity which probably saved me, but it wasn’t until I finally plucked up the courage to ask my coach for a session off that I realised how dead I was.


After gym (still had some pretty good strength), I came home and almost immediately… napped for 3hrs 😂 i woke up and because I’d allowed myself to stop I felt like death! Infact whilst Abs was out at coaching, I had another half an hour nap too! The weird thing is, I’m already beginning to feel better?


I guess the time I’ve given myself to catch up has really helped today, and the hole I had dug wasn’t too big to crawl out of. Fingers crossed I’ll feel better in the morning!


I dislike not doing much, I actually enjoy being productive far more these days. So I’m hoping tomorrow will be a better day, but if it’s not, that’s ok also, I don’t want to rush my recovery so I’ll take my time for the rest of the week 😁
