Day 19 notes (22/1/22)

Woke up today extremely excited about swimming this morning, and that excitement lasted just about through the warm up until I’d seen the set. We had 3’200s max (supposed to be 4 but ran out of time) followed by a 100max straight into 4’50s off short rest. It hurt! Personally, I struggle with sessions like this abit, as I question what to take from them.


I had raced a 200fly just 6days ago so I knew I wasn’t going to go faster than that in training trunks. And my back end would probably suffer for the same reason. I ended up setting on consistency being the main goal. And I only dropped off 3 seconds and took quite a lot from each rep.


Then there was a monumental day of socialising and ‘adulting’ which wore me out to no end, I loved today, but on Saturdays sometimes all I want to do is crawl up in bed and relax. Today was one of those days… however I’m extremely grateful for getting out, I had such a lovely time with everything I did, was just slightly overwhelming with how I feel now, and im looking forward to really sleeping it off tomorrow!


Within 2mins of writing this I guess I’ll be snoring 😁


Screen time was below 3(THREE) hours for the first time this week and I’ve planted 11 trees passively through the day. It’s been a great grounding method today and I’m hoping to get some work done at a coffee shop tomorrow, keeping the good energy going forward 😁
