Day 13 notes (16/1/22)

Keeping up quite a good streak with blogging so far! With must be around 12days/13 in a row now! I’m really liking documenting the day and I feel like it’s helping me out my thoughts/worries down and behind me.

The day started off good as I had my last race to go at my first meet back out of injury. And I’m very happy to say it went really well and was a very well executed race for my first 200fly back, let alone a January long course swim! Lots to work on from it but I felt I could take far more positives from this race than any of the others I’ve done! Very excited for the rest of the season and I want to make swimming like that the norm.

The rest of the day I spent with Abs and we went to the pub and did are classic weekend tradition. If ever we’re feeling out of touch or unconnected we go to the pub and play uno whilst having a drink. It was absolutely lovely, even if I did lose 5-2 🙄 weird on the way there though I felt dizzy and had to sit down, will have to keep an eye on that.

My screen time was the highest it’s been all week (just over 6hrs). I’m going to give myself a pass for this one. Mainly because I was mostly being productive meal planning whilst watching something at the same time. Another positive from this week is that I’ve planted more trees this week (including the 2 I’ll plant tonight I’ll have planted 95 trees (equating to almost 50hrs of trees) so I’m very proud of that statistic. And my average screen time is down roughly 15mins on average from last week… baby steps in the right direction!
